Description: TRIAZOPHOS is an organo phosphorous insecticide which controls a wide range of insects in a variety of crops by strong contact and stomach action.

a) Mammalian toxicity :

Oral Acute oral LD50 for rats 57-59, dogs >320->500 mg/kg b.w. daily. Skin and eye Acute dermal LD50 for rats >2000 mg/kg. No skin or eye irritation. Inhalation LC50 (4 h) for rats 0.531 mg/l air.

b) Environmental toxicity :

It has low toxicity to birds, aquatic algae and molluscs. Even though Triazophos is reported to be extremely toxic to fish, daphnia, bees in laboratory tests, under field conditions the same is not seen.

Shelf-life : One year under normal storage conditions.

Packing : 225 kg UN approved epoxy lacquered MS drums.
